Dr. Durant uses his experiences as a queer person to connect with the people coming into his office describing interpersonal struggles and identity challenges. Dr. Durant utilizes a relational model that patients can use as practice for deepening and strengthening their relationships outside of the office. Versed in Eastern and Western psychological models, psychoanalytic theory, and Trauma Theory, Dr. Durant is keenly attuned to how spirituality, the arts, music, and philosophy inspire and challenge psychological healing and growth.
