Chumley Singer

Mark ‘Chumley’ Singer has been an activist, a performer and an event producer for more than 40 years. Creating and co-hosting Philly’s GayBINGO!, Chumley helped to raise more than $1 million for the fight against HIV/AIDS. Chumley and his stunning co host(ess) Carlota Ttendant teamed again for Chumley & Carlota’s Movie Nights, a monthly series of campy cinematic fun.

In his role as Creative Director for Philadelphia’s Fourth of July events, Chumley created the Philadelphia Skyline Project, a program that illuminates the city buildings in a dazzling display of color each holiday season.

Chumley also served as Creative Director for many civic events including the Millennium Philadelphia celebration, the openings of the Liberty Bell Pavilion and National Constitution Center, and the Salvador Dali Experience at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Chumley produced events for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles franchise for 8 seasons.

Chumley is a founding board member of the Philadelphia Gay Tourism Caucus, and in addition to Chumley's BearCruises annually works with the Philadelphia 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mummer's Parade, Fourth of July Parade and continues to collaborate on independently produced events of all sizes.
